Audi Gives Away Free Gas

Santa Monica drivers got their tanks filled for free Wednesday.

Audi took over the 76 gas station on Cloverfield Blvd. to give owners of all diesel vehicles a complimentary tank of fuel.

Audi drivers who showed up were also escorted through an express lane where they got free car detailing. Guests received Audi memorabilia, snacks and refreshments at the station.

The complimentary gas was given as a thank you gift to those who Audi says made the intelligent decision to choose clean diesel.
