Veterans Batter Up with Dodgers

The LA Dodgers lead batting practice for members of the Armed Forces as part of Veterans Day celebrations.

The Dodgers celebrated Veterans Day by hosting 100 members of the Armed Forces for batting practice Monday.

Along with a tour, each of the members were able to hit on the field, throw in the Dodger bullpen, and hit in the batting tunnel.

Dodger alumnus "Sweet" Lou Johnson and Purple Heart recipient Roy Gleason taught at the different stations during the event.

The military servicemen were also given Dodgers Veterans Day batting practice t-shirts and a Dodgers Challenge Coin.
