First Class of Rescue Dogs Graduate from K9s Only Free Training Program

Dogs graduate from local obdience program.

A group of shelter dogs graduated Thursday from a free training scholarship program that specialized in obedience run by K9s Only, a dog training organization.

K9s Only ran "Pay It Forward", a support program to rescue unwanted animals and prepare them for adoption.

This is the first class of rescue dogs to graduate from K9s Only's program.

K9s Only staff trainers focused on teaching the dogs to socialize, be active and maintain a balance between confidence and comfort.

Trainers in the program each work with one dog and remain responsible for that dog.
