LAUSD Students Meet College Recruiters at Convention

LAUSD students went on the mother of all field trips Wednesday morning.

Over 10,000 college-bound high schoolers filled the Staples Center for the 12th annual College and Career Convention hosted by LAUSD and the L.A. Chamber of Commerce.

The convention was divided into three sections: financial aid 101, college life workshops and an event with university representatives from around the country.

Over 50 universities were present for the exhibition. After attending workshops, students rushed to meet with recruiters and representatives searching for this year's best and brightest students.
