Southern California Residents Exchange Energy-Efficient Holiday Lights
Thanksgiving isn't even here yet, but some Southern California residents are already thinking ahead to Christmas and how they are going to decorate.
The South Bay Environmental Services Center is helping residents be more energy efficient to save money and the environment this holiday season.
Starting Monday and continuing until Wednesday, the center will give up to two free strands of LED holiday lights in exchange for two strands of incandescent holiday bulbs.
Residents will have to bring in their electric bill to prove they are a Southern California Edison customer to receive the free strands of lights.
The program has been going on since 2007.
