Universal Studios Opens Park to Homeless Students

Universal Studos gave homeless students from across Los Angeles free park admission as a part of their community outreach program.

Universal Studios Hollywood welcomed about 250 homeless students from area schools to the park Thursday.

The students - drawn from 36 Los Angeles Unified School District schools - came as a part of the park's community outreach program.

In addition to free admission to the park, students received school supplies, clothing, and food.

Universal Studios Hollywood employees and volunteers also gave their time at five different non-profits around the area including AIDS Project Los Angeles and Homeboy Industries.
