USC Spiritual Leaders Celebrate Giving Tuesday

The national campaign encourages people to donate.

Giving Tuesday comes after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The national campaign encourages people to donate to charities and non-profit organizations.

At USC, spiritual leaders gathered at the Caruso Catholic Center to discuss the role of religion in giving. Keynote speaker and Los Angeles City Controller Ron Galperin said people should donate no matter what their religious background.

Participants in Tuesday's event were encouraged to share their generosity by using the hashtag "Faith Good."
