USG Working to Regulate On-Campus Solicitors
The Undergraduate Student Government passed a resolution Tuesday night to help regulate the activity of solicitors on campus.
Eighty percent of students surveyed on the subject said they felt uncomfortable as a result of their experiences with solicitors who have approached them on campus.
A majority of those students support placing a ban on all solicitor activity on campus.
As a result of this student feedback, USC will develop a new section of SCampus to better define the university's policy regarding on-campus solicitation.
The new policy will be enforced by DPS once it has been developed.
