Harlem Globetrotters Join Students to Discuss Healthy Lifestyles

The team paired up with the American Heart Association for the event, Jump Rope For Heart.

The Harlem Globetrotters visited Park Century Elementary School in Culver City Wednesday morning to promote exercise and heart health to the kids.

They paired up with the American Heart Association for the 35th anniversary of the community outreach program, Jump Rope For Heart.

"This is just an extension of what the Harlem Globetrotters are really all about," said Wun Versher, a.k.a. "The Shot." "Jump Rope For Heart is a great correlation with what the Harlem Globetrotters do playing out on the floor, having fun, using our bodies, exercising and eating right."

Students raised 15,000 dollars from the event.
