L.A. Times Calls Out USG's Lack Of Diversity

Since 2006, USG presidential candidates have all been men and a majority have been part of Greek life.

There hasn't been a female candidate for student body president at USC in over eight years, according to a Los Angeles Times article released Saturday.

All presidential candidates in the 2014 election have been male and a majority have been part of Greek life.

Across town, UCLA has had six women presidents since 2005.

This year, the tickets feature two women vice presidents: Rini Sampath and Brigid Kelly.

Both Sampath and Kelly state that they will continue to be involved in politics, win or lose, but stopped just shy of saying they would run again.
