Jammin' with Jacqueline: Ned Armstrong

Ever heard of Trap Music?

Junior Ned Armstrong is a tuba section leader in the USC Trojan Marching Band.

"I play bass guitar, I play guitar, I play organ, piano, tuba, trumphet, play trombone," said Armstrong.

Armstrong is from Dallas, Texas. He said something called "Trap Music" is very popular back home.

"You play on the up beats so it means its kinda like 'boom clap boom boom clap," he said.

When he came to USC, he was introduced toa new type of music.

"I came to California and everyone out here is more into EDM electric music," said Armstrong. "So I'm kind of incorporating the two I guess."

Armstrong will be performaing at USC's POP Fest on March 28 and RAP Fest on April 22 at Tommy's Place.
