Family of Convicted USC Halloween Shooter Reacts

A USC shooting at a party last Halloween results in prison time.

Family and friends of the 21-year-old man who was recently sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for a shooting that wounded four people outside a Halloween party on the USC campus in 2012 spoke out today.

Brandon Spencer was sentenced this month for the shooting that occurred outside of the party that nearly 400 people attended. Spencer was convicted of four counts of attempted murder.

Spencer's father, James Spencer spoke out about what he claims is an injustice and says the case is going to be appealed.

Prosecutors say Spencer was targetting rival gang members outside the party. Spencer did not attend USC and neither did the victims.
