L.A. District Attorney Calls for Action Against Child Abuse
Dozens of people in Los Angeles called for a stricter review of child abuse policies Wednesday.
Organizers released two reports demanding for an increase in funding for a new program that would help identify children who are at risk of abuse.
They also called on law enforcement officials to create stricter guidelines for handling child abuse cases.
LA District Attorney Jackie Lacey said the guidelines will help contribute to better preventative measures.
