Most Habitable Earth-like Planet Found

A new planet thathas the potential of sustaining life has been discovered.

An "Earth-like" planet, Kepler-186f has been discovered by astronomers within what they call the "Goldilocks Zone" of its system. Not too hot, not too cold.

Scientists are not sure if the planet has water or an atmosphere suitable for sustaining life, but finding Kepler-186f may be the first of many planets discovered that are within a habitable zone.

The newly discovered planet might have the capability of supporting living organisms, but it is stil extremely far away. It is 490 light-years away in the Cygnus solar system.

One major difference between Earth and Kepler-189f is the size and intensity of the stars in each system. Our sun is hoter and larger than the one found in the Cygnus system.
