Supreme Court Upholds Michigan Affirmative Action Ban
The Supreme Court ruled to uphold the ban on Affirmative Action in Michigan.
California is one of the seven states that currently has a smilar ban in place.
Voters in Michigan banned affirmative action in 2006. The percentage of Black undergraduate students in the state has fallen since the ban. Black students made up just 4.6 percent of Michigan's undergraduate population last Fall.
