No. 9 USC Women's Volleyball Falls in Straight Sets to No. 20 UCLA

After the Women of Troy fall at home for the third time this season, head coach Mick Haley quotes a Bruin to provide the team optimism.

The No. 9 USC women's volleyball team (7-4) fell in straight sets against cross-town rival No. 20 UCLA in the Galen Center Tuesday night. In the Bruins' three-set sweep (25-23, 25-13, 27-25), junior outside hitter Samantha Bricio led the Women of Troy with 12.5 points on 12 kills.

Depsite dropping to a PAC-12 rival within the confines of their own arena, the Women of Troy and head coach Mick Haley are optimistic with the performance and will continue to work toward improving for the road ahead. The Cardinal and Gold will be back in action against No. 19 Arizona State Friday night at the Galen Center.
