Crosstown Rival Bands Join Together to Fight Cancer

USC and UCLA come together in inaugural Rivals United Rally to raise awareness of underfunded cancer research.

The USC and UCLA marching bands, spirit teams and mascots put on a show in Downtown Los Angeles Thursday in the inaugural Rivals United Rally.

The rally was part of the Rivals United for a Kure organization's efforts to raise awareness and funds for underfunded cancer research. Former USC quarterback Paul McDonald and former UCLA quarterback Matt Stevens led the festivities.

All money raised will be raised shared equally between USC's Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. To find out more about Rivals United for a Kure click here.
