Dean Wilson Celebrates Grand Opening Of Wallis Annenberg Hall

Wednesday marked the grand opening of the new Wallis Annenberg Hall at USC. The event saw alumni and industry professionals alike come out to celebrate the new building and see the new resources available to students. 

Two and a half years in the making, the event brought a smile to the face of USC Annenberg Dean Ernest Wilson. Wilson said the thing that most impresses him about the building is the "delight and excitement" he sees and hears students expressing about it every day. 

At the very beginning of the planning stages, Wilson sat down with Ms. Annenberg to find a way to best incorporate their vision and ethics into the building. Ultimately, that vision came through in a state-of-the-art facility that emphasizes "openness, transparency, clarity and participation." 

Wilson said the joy of the new building comes from seeing how those initial conversations and visions of Wallis Annenberg Hall have been translated into a place that inspires even more conversations and dreams.
