President Obama's Return To Southern California

President Obama returns to Southern California to give speech in Santa Monica.

President Barack Obama is paying a visit to a Santa Monica today to pitch his economic policies. The president will speak at Cross Campus, a space for young entrepreneurs and startup companies.

Obama’s visit will emphasize policies designed to appeal to the Millennial generation, such as healthcare and increasing access to higher education.

Millennial refers to the generation born between 1980 and the mid-2000s. The group makes up about a third of the U.S. population.

Today’s speech is part of the White House’s effort to recapture the attention of younger voters.

Obama will make an appearance at Gwyneth Paltrow’s Brentwood mansion tonight for a Democratic National Committee fundraiser.
