USC Launches Funding Platform for Trojan Innovators

USC unveiled Ignite USC that supports faculty and students with funding for personal projects or innovations.

USC launched a website Ignite USC to raise money for student ,staff, and faculty projects. 

Ignite USC currently features two projects: Reducing Plastic Waste on Campus and Fighting for Green Medicine and Global health.

The site enables USC alumni and the public to donate to the featured projects.

"This money goes to specific projects that are approved and fit the mission of the University," said Vice President for Advancement Services, Travey Vranich in an e-mail Wednesday. 

Ignite USC supports the Campaign for the University of Southern California, which has raised over $3.6 billion in private philanthropy for creative work, research, and healthcare with goals to improve the quality of life for people around the world.
