Cody Kessler: "They Deserved to Win"

USC QB Cody Kessler talked about the constant pocket pressure after Saturday's loss to UCLA.

The No. 19 USC football team (7-4, 6-3) fell to crosstown rival No. 9 UCLA 38-20 Saturday night at the Rose Bowl, making it three straight years the Bruins have gotten the best of the Trojans. After the game, redshirt junior quarterback Cody Kessler talked about the struggles the team faced and why things went wrong.

Kessler emphasized that the Bruins outplayed the Trojans and the constant pressure he felt in the pocket made it difficult to move the ball down the field. The slinger also looked forward to the regular season finale against Notre Dame Saturday and stressed that he will be out on the field playing for the seniors in order to send them off their Trojan careers in the right way.

Kessler and the rest of the Trojans will be in action vs the Fighting Irish Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with gametime set for 12:30 p.m.
