Hayes Pullard: "They Had a Great Plan, They Executed that Plan"

USC linebacker Hayes Pullard talks about USC's poor performance at the end of halves, the talent of UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley, and how the team will move forward after the loss to UCLA.

The No. 19 USC football team (7-4, 6-3) fell to crosstown rival No. 9 UCLA 38-20 Saturday night at the Rose Bowl, making it three straight years the Bruins have gotten the best of the Trojans. After the game, senior linebacker and captain Hayes Pullard talked about his team's mentality finding themselves in an unfamilar situation when trailing at half.

Pullard also applauded UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley and provided reasons that USC struggled to contain the Bruin attack. The captain emphasizes focusing on preparation and making sure the team executes as the major priorities.

Pullard and the rest of the Trojans will be in action vs the Fighting Irish Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with gametime set for 12:30 p.m.
