Our analysis of the social media showdown between USC and UCLA continues Tuesday with new data from Twitter from the last seven days. The data, gathered by the Media Center's Public Relations team using Sales Force Marketing Cloud Radian 6, shows USC is still "winning," a trend Trojan fans hope continues throughout the week and into Saturday.

As this graphic indicates, the most popular buzzword on Twitter is "USC," with "#fighton," "#usc," "rose bowl," and "#ucla," also generating many mentions.

In the last week, there were about twice as many tweets posted containing the hashtag "#BeatBruins" than "#BeatSC."

Trojan fans showed their support with "#FightOn," which was tweeted over 1,000 more times than "#GoBruins."

UCLA favoritism can be seen here, with "#FUSC" receiving almost 500 mentions, compared to "#FUCLA" with just under 400.

For now, USC can call themselves the victors, at least in the Twittersphere. We'll continue to monitor tweets and post updated data everyday until kickoff.
