Three of Alleged Bill Cosby Assault Victims Speak Out

Their stories are the latest testimonies in the sexual assault allegations against the comedian.

Three women came forward Wednesday afternoon to share their emotional accounts of what they say happened during their encounters with Bill Cosby in the 1970s and '80s. All three women claimed that Cosby sexually assaulted them. These are the latest of several accusations against the actor.

Gloria Allred is Los Angeles-based attorney representing the three women. She proposes two solutions, the first is that Cosby waive his statute of limitations, allowing the women to sue.

"The public deserves to know if Mr. Cosby is a saint or a sexual predator. This can best be accomplished by providing a window of opportunity so that all alleged victims can come forward and have their day in court," Allred said in a press conference on Wednesday.

Allred's second proposal is that Cosby place $100 million into a fund and have the women accusing him of assualts appear before an arbitration panel composed of retired judges. The arbitrators would determine the merit of the women's claims and award them an appropriate settlement based on the validity of their accusations.

The first alleged victim to speak out at the news conference on Wednesday said she met Cosby in the '80s when she was trying to break into the modeling world and engaged in an extramarital affair with the comedian for several months. Beth Ferrier claims Cosby drugged her before sexually assaulting her when he visited her weeks after she ended the affair. Ferrier said she wanted to come forward with her story earlier, but was afraid no one would believe her.

Another alleged victim that spoke out on Wednesday, Helen Hayes, said she met Cosby in 1973. Hayes said he followed her and her friend throughout the night until he came up and sexually assaulted her in a restaurant.

The third victim to speak at the press conference on Wednesday claimed she was a minor at the time of her alleged assault. For this reason, she chose not to provide her last name in her testimony. Chelan said she was told by Cosby that a modeling agency was coming to the hotel room where they met to consider her for a job. She said she was given a blue pill and a couple shots of Ameretto before she was assaulted by Cosby.

Cosby continues to deny the allegations brought against him.
