USC's Williams Named Hendricks Finalist
USC junior defensive lineman Leonard Williams is one of six finalists for the Ted Hendricks Award, honoring the best defensive end in college football. Williams is an All-American and a two time Pac-12 first teamer. He has 71 tackles in the 2014 season including 8.5 tackles for loss, including 6 sacks. He has also forced a team high of six fumbles and has one intercepted pass.
Other finalists include Clemson's Vic Beasle, Utah's Nate Orchard, Missouri's Shane Ray, Washington's Hau'oli Kikaha and Ohio State's Joey Bosa.
The winner will be announced December 10. Williams and the rest of the Trojans will wait to find out their bowl game destiny Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
