Women of Troy Put on Cinderella Shoes

The USC women's volleyball team (15-15, 8-12) squeaked into the 2014 NCAA Women's Championship Tournament despite dropping five of its last six games. The Women of Troy rounded out their regular season with a 3-2 loss to the No. 17 UCLA Bruins Friday at Pauley Pavilion. 

USC will travel to North Carolina Friday to battle Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the tournament. Head coach Mick Haley talked Monday about how his team will fair with making a deep run into the post season, despite struggling through the majority of its schedule. The Women of Troy and the Chanticleers will battle it out in Chapel Hill Friday at 1:30 p.m.
