USC Baseball Battles Bruisers
The USC baseball team (12-1) has its hands full heading into a weekend of top-ranked opponents. The Trojans will look to rebound from their first loss against UC Santa Barbara Tuesday by taking on the No. 2 TCU Horned Frogs Friday at Dedeaux Field. Senior catcher Garrett Stubbs welcomes the flury of challenging contenders and is ready to take on the nation's best.
After the Friday night lights game, USC will prepare to host No. 5 Vanderbilt Saturday before traveling to Dodger Stadium to take the diamond against crosstown rival No. 6 UCLA Sunday. The Trojans and Horned Frogs will take the field with first pitch slated for 6:00 p.m.
