USC Baseball Heads to Conference Play
The No. 9 USC baseball team (15-2) looks to rebound from a tough road loss Tuesday as the team heads into PAC-12 play against Washington State Friday. The Trojans, who fell to the UC Irvine Anteaters 6-2 the last time they took the diamond, are ready to put the loss behind them and focus on the Cougars.
In a three-game series in Pullman, Washington last season, USC dropped two out of three, including a 4-3 extra inning loss that featured the Trojans stranding six runners on base. USC and WSU will showdown on the diamond at Dedeaux Field, with first pitch slated for 6:00 p.m.
