Women of Troy Put Out Flames, 20-6
The USC women's lacrosse team (3-2) came back into action after a two week hiatus in commanding fashion Monday, taking down Liberty 20-6 at McAlister Field. The Women of Troy dominated action from start to finish, taking a 12-3 lead into the half. Sophomore attack Michaela Michael registered five goals in the contest and explained that conquering Liberty's zone was the key to the offensive success.
In the victory, 11 different members of the USC squad tallied goals with five different players finding the net at least twice. The Women of Troy will be back in action Friday with a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation clash against the California Golden Bears.
