No. 8 USC Volleyball Routs DII Concordia

The Trojans used an nontraditional lineup en route to a 3-1 win over the Eagles.

The No. 8 USC men's volleyball team (16-8, 13-7) defeated Concordia in four sets in a non-conference match Tuesday. Led by junior Alex Slaught's 19 kills, the Trojans were able to recover from a third set loss to take the victory 3-1. USC's starting lineup consisted of players who have gotten limited playing time this season as head coach Bill Ferguson used the chance to rest starting players against the Division II opponent.

The Troojans will host an alumni match Saturday then hit the road to face Cal Baptist April 16. USC will finish its regular season in the friendly confines of the Galen Center April 18.
