No. 6 Trojan Baseball Battles Bruins

USC look to continue season dominance over UCLA in weekend series.

The No. 6 USC baseball team (25-7, 7-2) will try to recover from a 2-1 loss to No. 13 UC Santa Barbara with a home series against crosstown rival UCLA. The loss to the Gauchos snapped a five-game winning streak for the Trojans, but senior infielder Dante Flores explains that the team has all of its confidence and is ready to use the home crowd to its advantage.

In this season's earlier matchup with UCLA, USC blew out the Blue and Gold 8-4 at Dodger Stadium as the final game of the Dodger Stadium College Baseball Classic. The Trojans and Bruins will battle each day Friday to Sunday at Dedeaux Field with Friday's first pitch slated for 3:00 p.m.
