Women of Troy Finish Perfect at McAlister

USC lacrosse closes home schedule out with two weekend conference wins.

The USC lacrosse team (10-3, 6-0) finished its home campaign Sunday with two victories over Colorado and Denver to remain unblemished in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play, as well as an unbeaten record at the friendly confines of McAlister Field. The Women of Troy used five unanswered goals to propel them to a 12-9 victory over the Buffaloes Friday and four different USC scorers posted hat tricks in the 16-4 demolishment of Denver on senior day Sunday.

With the win, USC enters a final three-game road stretch to close out the regular season and hold onto the top seed of the MPSF tournament. The Women of Troy will begin their final course of action with a battle against the UC Davis Aggies Friday at 4:00 p.m.
