All-Day Breakfast Is Now Served

McDonald’s today joined other fast food restaurants in serving breakfast all-day long. 


Although only certain items of the breakfast menu will be available after 10:30 a.m., the change has a lot of people excited. 

“It’s about time, McDonalds,” said McDonald’s customer Mike Tsirklin. “It’s 2015. This should’ve happened like 10 years ago. Jack in the box has been doing all day breakfast forever.”

Jack In The Box dubs itself “the home of breakfast all day,” while Taco Bell recently expanded its breakfast menu to keep up with the growing demand for fast breakfast food. 

Breakfast food on McDonald’s menu has remained a top seller, even as the company faces other challenges. 

“It seems like McDonalds is going in the direction of public opinion and it remains to be seen, but it’ll probably be a smart move,” said USC Annenberg Professor Dave Quast. 

McDonald’s has said that adding breakfast to its all-day menu could increase sales by more than two percent, which could add up to hundreds of millions of dollars.
