A New App Helps You Relax

Pause is a new mindful meditation app made to help people relieve stress.

Next time you pull out your phone to check up on your friends’ lives on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, take a moment to focus on yourself with the new app, Pause, created by Peng Cheng, founder of PauseAble.

The new IOS app is catching the attention of smartphone addicts. This newest release from digital design studio, Ustwo, is a meditation tool. The app targets anxiety and breaks down users’ habits of juggling multiple tasks all day long. It encourages users to relax while it gives directions.

An environment comparable to a daydream of vibrant colors and sounds is created on the screen, focusing the user on the moment instead of the past and future worries.

The design team is looking to make future updates to the app for a greater and more relaxing experience.
