Students Spending Halloween At The Weekender
Tailgating is a tradition USC Football fans take seriously. It's a time before the game for fans to socialize, enjoy some barbecue and play a little beer pong. It's a giant pre-funk for the party itself, which is the game. Earlier this fall, Scout.com ranked USC as the No. 21 university in the country for tailgating.
Each year USC travels to Northern California to play the the Cal Bears, or the Stanford Cardinal. This year fans, students and alumni will take their tailgate to Berkeley for what they call the Weekender.
Kickoff is Saturday at 12 p.m. Interim Head Coach Clay Helton led the Trojans to a big 42-24 win at the Coliseum over Utah last weekend. The players are buying in and there's a new attitude. Since it's a Halloween Weekender, fans hope the team will put a scare into the Bears.
