The USC Football team closed out rivalry week in style with a 40-21 takedown of the UCLA Bruins at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday. The Trojans defeated their cross-town rival, UCLA, for the first time in four seasons. With the win, USC improves to 8-3 overall and 6-3 in the Pac-12, securing the Pac-12 South Division.
It was a team effort for the Trojans who had an impressive showing from all sides of the ball. After the game interim Head Coach, Clay Helton, was joined by sophomore Adoree Jackson, senior captain Cody Kessler and freshman Iman Marshall to discuss the team's huge win at home.
In his last home game as a Trojan, Kessler threw for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns; Jackson, once again proved his dynamic abilities, with a huge punt return early on; and finally true freshman Iman Marshall picked off UCLA quarterback, Josh Rosen, twice, together setting the winning momentum for the rest of the team.
