USC Football To Face Wisconsin In Holiday Bowl

The USC Football team will return to the Holiday Bowl on December 30th to face No. 23 Wisconsin at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. This will be the second-straight trip to the Holiday Bowl for the Trojans, who just last year defeated the University of Nebraska, 45-42. 

Though USC is coming off of a tough loss to the Stanford Cardinal in the PAc-12 Championship game on Saturday, head coach Clay Helton expressed his excitement over the team's bowl selection.

"We are thrilled to be able to go back to the Holiday Bowl and play an outstanding Big Ten team like Wisconsin. All of us at USC had such a wonderful experience last year in San Diego and we thank the Holiday Bowl committee for inviting us back," said Helton.

The Trojans are 6-0 against the Badgers and this will be the teams' first meeting since 1966. USC, 8-5 overall in 2015 is looking to improve it's Holiday Bowl record to 2-0 in the last two years, with a win over Wisconsin. 

USC will kick off against Wisconsin in San Diego on December 30th at 7:30 p.m.
