A man in a kilt, on a cross-country walk, arrived in Santa Monica earlier Thursday. After losing his dog, Malcolm, to cancer in 2006, Luke Robinson decided to raise cancer awareness for four-legged patients by embarking on an “Austin to Boston” walk in 2008. The success of the walk led Robinson to begin a second walk to raise awareness for the six million dogs diagnosed with cancer every year. The 2,000-mile walk extends from the Canadian border to the Mexican border.
