Alvand A. Salehi is a second year law student at the Gould School of Law.  He is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication Management at the Annenberg School.  Salehi graduated from USC in 2010 with Bachelor’s degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science.  During his undergraduate career, Salehi had the privilege of working at ATVN as an executive producer, reporter, anchor and studio director, among other things.  He enjoyed his time at ATVN so much that he had to come back for another semester.

Salehi hopes ultimately to break into the broadcast journalism realm as a general reporter with a specialty in legal analysis.  His experience working at both local and national news outlets has reaffirmed his journalistic career aspirations.

In his spare time, Salehi enjoys watching movies, playing sports, and making music.  Much of his spare time, however, is spent in the law library.
