Bronte Lawson

Reporter
Class of 2013


Bronte Lawson is a junior majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She has worked for ATVN since 2010 and her positions have included Camera Operator, Multimedia Journalist, Weather Anchor and Reporter.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Bronte has held several news internships both in Canada and the United States. She has interned at Global Toronto, ABC7 and CBS2/KCAL9.

During her time at Global News, Bronte worked alongside several reporters out in the field during the G8 and G20 summits. At ABC7 she worked a newsroom rotation, learning about each specific news-related position. Most recently at CBS2/KCAL, Bronte worked with investigative reporter David Goldstein and contributed to several investigative pieces, including some undercover work.

Post-graduation, Bronte hopes to pursue a career as a reporter and eventually venture into health reporting.
