Kayla Colin
Multimedia Director, Multimedia Journalist, Technical Director, Weather AnchorKayla Colin is a sophomore at the University of Southern California majoring in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and minoring in Communication Law and Media Policy. She is currently a weather anchor, technical director, multimedia journalist and web writer for Annenberg TV News.
Now in her fourth semester at ATVN, Kayla began working on the assignment desk. Once she got her first taste of life at ATVN, she was hooked and proceeded to work as a studio camera operator, streambox operator, graphics artist, multimedia journalist and assistant director.
Away from ATVN, she is an active member of USC's Xpressions Dance Company as well as a member of Annenberg Scholars.
Born and raised in San Diego, she loves going to the beach, eating fresh sushi and is completely obsessed with the Beatles.
After graduation she hopes to work either in front of or behind the camera for a major broadcast network.
