Cargill Recalls More Ground Turkey
Cargill, a major food distributor, held a voluntary recall of ground turkey Sunday after an Arksansas sample tested positive for Salmonella.
The most recent removal comes after Cargill recalled 36 million pounds of ground turkey linked to a 65-year-old woman's death last month.
According to the Centers for Diseace Control, one in six people in the United States gets sick from eating contaminated food each year.
Ground turkey products to look out for include Kroger, Fresh Herb, and Cargill's Honeysuckle White brands.
