Prophet Predicts World To End Friday

Harold Camping previously explained May 21 was a spiritual Judgment Day.

Harold Camping, the man who said judgment day would come on May 21, 2011 is now saying the world will end on Oct. 21.

According to Camping, the head of the Family Radio Network, true believers will join Jesus in Heaven while nonbelievers will be tormented for the next five months.

When nothing happened on the day of Camping's previous prediction that an earthquake would cause the world to end on May 21, he explained it was a spiritual Judgment Day.

A statement on the Family Radio Network website said, "Indeed, on May 21 Christ did come spiritually to put all of the unsaved throughout the world into judgment."

Last month Camping said he did not know how the world would end, but later confirmed Oct. 21 was the new Judgment Day.

"Thus we can be sure that the whole world, with the exception of those who are presently saved (the elect), are under the judgment of God, and will be annihilated together with the whole physical world on October 21, 2011, on the last day of the present five month period," according to the statement on the website.
