USC Announces Scholarship Partnership With Taiwan
USC and the Taiwan Ministry of Education are joining forces to announce the “Taiwan-USC Scholarships.” These scholarships will provide Taiwanese Ph.D. students with full tuition and living stipends to pursue their advanced degrees.
“We are excited to partner with the University of Southern California, one of the world’s top universities, to support students from Taiwan as they continue to pursue their ideas and research,” says Tony W.T. Lin, Director-General of the Bureau of International Cultural and Educational Relations for the Taiwan Ministry of Education.
USC prides itself on having more international students than any other university in the country and is known for being one of the top destinations for Taiwanese students who study in the United States.
Randy Hall, USC’s Vice President of Research says, “The University of Southern California benefits from the rich diversity of its students, scholars and faculty who come from around the world to become members of the Trojan Family.”
The Taiwan-USC Scholarships will be available next fall for up to five Taiwanese students.
