IKEA Recalls Mirror Doors Due to Laceration Hazard

IKEA announced a recall of a wardrobe mirror door on Tuesday following consumer complaints of the mirror unexpectedly falling off and shattering, which can pose a laceration hazard.

The Pax Aurland wardrobe mirror door was recalled after IKEA received 14 reports incidents, including one minor injury in Europe.  No incidents have been reported in the U.S. or Canada.

The door was sold exclusively at IKEA stores nationwide from October 2010 through September 2011.

Consumers should immediately contact their local IKEA store for instructions on exchanging the mirror door for a free replacement door.
