A woman was found dead early this morning on the 3200 block of West Adams Boulevard. The LAPD says the woman's son found her body in her apartment at about 3:30 Thursday morning.

A man believed to be the woman's husband is being questioned Thursday as a possible suspect in the shooting. Officer Gregory Baek of the LAPD Media Relations office says the man turned himself to police at about 5 a.m. this morning.

The shooting is believed to have taken place in an apartment complex called Frame Manor, but Baek said it was unclear when the shooting happened.

ATVN contacted the LAPD for the name of the suspect and the woman, but no names are available to the public at this time.

The LA County Coroners Office said they had identified the woman, but would not release her name because of the pending notification of her kin.
