President Obama Visits Los Angeles

President Obama visited Los Angeles Wednesday for the first time since October to kick off a short series of fundraisers along the west coast.
Upon his arrival, the President went to the Beverly Hills home of Emmy winner Bradley Bell, creator of the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful” and his wife for a fundraiser concert followed by dinner. The event was headlined by recent Grammy winners Foo Fighters with tickets for the concert ranging from $200-500. Tickets for the dinner however, were substantially more, reportedly costing $38,000 per seat.
Obama spent the night in L.A., and then made his way south along the coast after visiting home of Jeff and Nancy Stack in Corona del Mar for another fundraiser in the form of an early morning breakfast on Thursday. Entry to the breakfast cost $2,500 per person, with prices going up to $35,800 for a meet and greet with the President himself. About 80 people attended the dinner, including actors George Clooney, Jim Belushi, and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
After the breakfast, the President travelled aboard Air Force One to San Francisco for three fundraisers, and will be landing in Seattle by Friday. Bands such as Soundgarden, and The Head and the Heart are scheduled to perform at each of his events.

- 405 between est L.A. and Costa Mesa/Irvine
- Newport Coast Drive
- Jamboree Road
- Macarthur Boulevard
- San Joaquin Hills Road
- Pacific Coast Highway (1)
