Love for the “Levitated Mass” continues as the rock rolled into Long Beach on Wednesday morning.

Long Beach welcomed the rock with open arms and hosted a “Rock Party” to celebrate its journey from Riverside to Miracle Mile.

The theme of the party celebrating the 340-ton boulder’s journey is, “I Want to Rock with You.”

The event began at noon at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and 36th Street. The rock arrived there early Wednesday morning and will leave late Wednesday night.

People attending the party can expect games, painting for children and a chance to take a photograph with the "Levitated Mass."

According to the Rock Party Facebook event page, there will be a river rock painting station, Rocky Road ice cream from Baskin-Robbins, Rockstar energy drinks and Pop Rocks.

The rock is expected to arrive at its new home, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, on Saturday morning.
