Campus Events on Election Day
Specialized Tram Routes to Reach Polls, 7 a.m.- 8 p.m.
The Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics will team with USC Transportation to ensure students can easily reach the polls on election day. The trams will begin running at 7 a.m., and the last tram will leave at 8 p.m. from Leavey Library. Click here for routes and updates from USC Transportation.
USC Voter Stations, 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.
USC will have five different polling locations on and near campus. The following instructions were provided by USC:
If you live at: Cardinal Gardens, Century or LaSorbonne
Then vote at: Cardinal Gardens Customer Service Center
If you live at: Webb Tower, Flour Tower, Arts & Humanities Residential College at Parkside or International Residential College at Parkside
Then vote at: Parkside Arts and Humanities, Room 1217
If you live at: Troy Hall, Troy East or Cardinal and Gold
Then vote at: USC Catholic Center, Our Savior Parish at 3201 University Ave.
If you live at: The Row or Severance Street Apartments
Then vote at: Hoover Recreation Center
If you live at: Marks Hall, Marks Tower, Pardee Tower, New Residential College, North Residential College, Trojan Hall and Birnkrant Residential College
Then vote at: Harris Hall (North Residential College)
USC College Republican and College Democrat Phone Banking, 12 p.m. - 8p.m.
College students of both political parties will be calling potential voters to encourage voting. Both parties will begin calling around 12 p.m. and will finish when the polls close around 9 p.m. The USC College Republicans and College Democrats will be competing to see which club can place the most calls. Any students are encouraged to participate.
Election Night 2012 at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center, 5 p.m.- 10 p.m.
The USC Political Student Assembly will host a screening of the 2012 presidential election at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center. Free food from a special election menu will be provided by Seeds. Discounted food and drink specials will also be provided by Traditions, located underneath the campus center. The Political Student Assembly also says a photobooth, political cartoonist, and raffle prizes, including a free subscription to The Economist, will be available.
