Students Drum Up Support for Homecoming

It's Homecoming Week at USC and students, faculty and alumni are ready to "Levil the Devils."

Golf-cart-mounted floats puttered through campus escorted by the Spirit of Troy marching band at about noon Wednesday, inspiring passion and rallying student support for the upcoming Homecoming football game with Arizona State.

The A.S.U. Sun Devils' mascot was prominently and unkindly featured in the parade to symbolize this year's theme of "Level the Devils."

Trojan student organizations have participated in a variety of activities put on by Campus Activities at USC throughout the week including the parade and "Anything Goes," a wacky competition on McCarthy Quad.

Thursday night, members of USC student organizations can enjoy music, food and prizes at the Homecoming rally at the Galen Center at 7 p.m.

Alumni can check out Homecoming Central at Tommy Trojan on game day.  There will be Homecoming giveaways, face painting, balloon artists and more activities to get into the Homecoming spirit.

The game kicks off unusually early at 12:00 p.m. this Saturday at the Coliseum.
